There’s so much to see, do, and taste in downtown Collingwood!

Here are a few of our favourite things — almost all within a 15 minute walk.

Art to Inspire

Collingwood’s buzzing Creative Simcoe Street district is right at our door. Get inspired, browse, and meet the artists.

Blue Mountain Foundation of the Arts. Charming boutique (and supplier of some of the art at 11 Rooms!) with unique works by local artists. Paintings, pottery, jewellery, woodworking, cards, and more. Wed to Sat. 2 minute walk.

Tremont Studios. There are 10 working artists in individual studios on the second floor of the Tremont building, just a few doors down from us, featuring a diverse and stunning variety of art. The hallways serve as a gallery with new shows every second month. Browse, meet the artists, and take home something you love!

Butter Gallery. On Hurontario, this gallery specializes in contemporary Canadian art with an emphasis on local Ontario artists. Good selection of locally made jewellery, too.

Huron Street Murals. Designed to bring the community joy in the midst of the pandemic, this temporary mural alongside Huron Street features the work of 5 local artists. Find a full map at https://bit.ly/3eYrPpo

Foodie Faves

Dags and Willow. Great selection of artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and baked goods. Perfect for picnics or in-room snacking. Open daily. Short walk.
